GOT7 member Jinyoung made a huge revelation about the private life of the group members and he might be reprimanded by them for this. Although some member of GOT7 already previously admitted in they have dated in the past, the issue of idol dating is still a huge deal in the K-pop world. Jinyoung suddenly said their agency has a rule that they can start dating when can fill up 10, seats at a concert. Jinyoung then became flustered and made everyone laugh as he asked his bandmates if they already started hanging out with ladies. Many find the singer's reaction cute when he was told that GOT7 already done the 10, people seats at a concert. Some said it is part of the idols' personal life hence if they choose to be in a romantic relationship, it is all up to them.

Jyp entertainment dating rules

My WordPress Website – Just another WordPress site
UNIVERSE, which launched on January 28, boasts the ability to have private calls with and send private messages to some top K-pop artists — as well as the usual exclusive content and its own social network system. Some are sweet and normal — a call to wish you happy birthday, or one to encourage you at school or work — but others are more than a little off. Parasocial relationships being encouraged by K-pop agencies is nothing new and, generally speaking, there are instances where one-sided relationships with artists or celebrities can be healthy. Sexualisation of female artists is, of course, a problem that is not limited to K-pop and Korea — the West has long had deep-running issues with this too — but the issue has, in recent months, reached a boiling point in the conservative East Asian country. The world of K-pop has always been an innovative space and the spate of new community and social networking apps created by entertainment agencies and developers are just the latest technological step forward. In an age where connecting with artists is easier than ever, these apps are turning digital social spaces into an elitist commodity and dangerously capitalising on the love of loyal fans.

K-pop’s new community app dangerously misses the point of what fans want from idol interactions
BTS often sends fans into a frenzy, but this time it wasn't because of their music. Jungkook had fans freaking out after leaked CCTV footage showed him hanging out with a female tattoo artist, sparking rumors that the two were dating. In the video, Jungkook allegedly appears to be hugging a woman. Jungkook has yet to comment on the rumors, but now that his agency has, he most likely won't. In their statement, Big Hit even threatened to take legal action regarding the rumors.

K-pop idols' dating life is not like like the typical setup we see. Given that they are public figures, they make sure that they maintain a good reputation towards their fans, and that includes not having a romantic relationship. This is why dating becomes a huge controversy, and most of the time put in a bad light, even though they are old enough to date. While labels should protect the best interest of their artists, their have rules on dating to follow and it's different, depends which agency they are under.
