At a busy mall in Shanghai, shoppers are lining up to create their own personal avatars to try on new clothes. The store, named Moda Polso or "fashion pulse" in Italian, gives customers the chance to see themselves wearing different garments without the hassle of actually changing clothes, allowing them to make their choices more quickly and easily. Moda Polso opened in May as a pilot project of Shanghai-based apparel "new retail" company, Pulsion. The rest of the area is reserved for changing rooms and a square-meter storage room accommodating 3, pieces of roughly 1, designs.
